We live on a 25 acre farm in Dalton, GA. I raised miniature horses for 15 years until my daughter Lauren was born. I decided the minis - with the showing, grooming, foaling 40 mares a year - didn't work well with raising a daughter. I had raised Hollands before the minis for 10 years.

When Lauren was one, I had to be able to go to the barn and play, so I got back into Hollands and Netherlands. I fell in love with the Hollands again and went just to raising them.

Besides tort, I raise chinchilla, chestnut, opal, blue, squirrel, orange, cream, sable point, and black, in both brokens and solids.

I now love going back to the barn every day and spend as much time as I can just loving and taking care of them. My husband Rody calls Lauren and I his "barn girls." I have rather clean the barn than the house!!
